Hello, I'm Amy, a 27-year-old teaching assistant working full-time for in specialist provision schools. Outside work, I like to meet friends for a walk, practise piano (slowly relearning!) and bake. I like keeping an eye out for birds when I walk around East Bristol’s green spaces. At the weekend, I visit my parents and friends, or have a quiet weekend at home. I'd be keen to get out into a garden to try growing some flowers (maybe some veg) if a garden is available, but otherwise I will stick to watering my pot plants (any tips on how to revive my slightly yellowing Peace Lily would be welcome!) As a housemate, I love to check in on how my housemates' days have gone, I love the occasional house meal, and I enjoy taking pride in a home - keeping it clean and tidy. I like to watch the odd episode or film on the TV, but I tend to be a lot happier with less screen time! Board games or arty-crafty sessions are more my thing. Having grown up in a ‘born again’ Christian family, I feel most at home around housemates who share Christian values. Though I no longer consider myself religious, I am still connected to my heritage, occasionally attend church services, and still enjoy prayer and worship.
