More about the accommodation:
We are 10 minutes walk from Oxford railway station (2 mins from Botley Rd Waitrose). Despite being so close to the city centre, the area has a leafy rural feel. There are two parks, some lovely walks right out of the back gate and lots of friendly neighbours (next door attend St Ebbes). The whole house (including the room available) is very spacious, including a large lounge / dining room / conservatory area. There is a cosy back garden adjacent to Bullstake Stream (a branch of the Thames). Its a great place to invite friends and there is a guest bedroom. The room, about 3m square, is adjacent to a shower / WC and overlooks some trees.

The household is normally the owner, John, and two or three lodgers. John has nearly completed a ThM at Regent College, Vancouver, variably in-person and online. Prior to his master's degree, John worked as a vet, mainly in England, also in Australia and Cape Town, and intends to return to that in May. When home, he particularly enjoys cycling with the Cowley Road Condors and playing the flute. Miriam graduated from Oxford fairly recently and works for a charity seeking to promote peace in Israel. Christine is from Brazil, studying for a DPhil in theology. She loves rowing. We're a friendly household, visitors are welcome, and we share meals, baked cakes, deserts etc from time to time.
