More about the accommodation seeker:
Hi there, I'm Eddie, nice to meet you.
I'm hoping to move back to Bristol pretty imminently. I studied in Bristol, then I moved to work in Cambridge (where I set up a community house) now I'm back in Bristol... well I was in Bristol, in a community house for a couple of years, I've moved out to house/chicken sit for a couple of months, now I'm looking to move back to Bristol.
I work remotely 29 hours a week as a software engineer in the renewable energy industry. However, I am currently applying for new positions in the same industry.
I'm also doing a part-time graduate diploma in Kingdom Theology at WTC. I'm loving it, but at its peak it can take up pretty much all of my free time that isn't sabbethed.
These two things mean that I'm looking for an easy community house for the next 18 months, until I graduate, so I have enough clear headspace to complete my essays.
My loves: Jesus :P, theological chats, pretty much any sort of deep or silly chat, being seeing my 3 year old goddaughter, exploring the great outdoors on foot or by canoe, any sort of game (although I find bluffing games stressful), helping out, sorting stuff, playing music (guitar, singing, song writing), I'm up for joining in pretty much anything.
My awkwardnesses:
- I eat a vegan diet.
- I work from home, usually not a problem, just need space for a desk in my room.
- My studying takes up a lot of my free time. When essays really hit, Sundays are pretty much my day for socialising and getting out. But if there's a specific house night, I'll make sure I'm fully there.
I'm keen to join a community house that has Jesus at the core, is intentionally doing life together, has a good laugh, and is functional enough that I have enough headspace to get my essays done.
If you got this far through my ramblings, then I'm impressed.
If I sound like I fit your bill, do message me, I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks for reading my ramblings
God bless you
Eddie
