This advert is for my 22 year old daughter who will be attending University of York from 2026/2027 academic year - to complete a Masters. She is looking to rent from September 2026, and not immediately. I know that is a long way ahead to seek accommodation, but all the Uni estate agents are already advertising for that year. My daughter graduated from the University of York in June 2025 with a First in English Lit, but is taking a year out this year and at home with us (parents) in Reading. She hopes to stay in York in the long term though and possibly look to a PhD after the Masters. She is a Christian and attends Kennet Valley Free church and references would be available. She has a real heart for helping with children's work and those with extra needs or on the autistic spectrum. In York she would probably go back to York Evangelical Church where she attended when she did her Undergraduate degree. She really enjoys bouldering at the Red Goat when in York. That's her main interest. She is working in her year at home at a Christian charity called Oakwood, where children come and take part in outdoor activities on school residentials. My daughter is quiet and a bit of an introvert, but would value a house share with other Christians. she likes listening to podcasts, and doing puzzles, and isn't very go-outy. Very quiet and likes a regular routine and an early night. But it would do her good to not be in a house on her own.
