More about the accommodation seeker:
Hi, I'm Charlotte — a history-loving, choir-singing, sushi-enthusiast with a slight obsession with Roman pottery and a brand new allotment that's currently more ambition than vegetables.
By day I'm a teacher and tutor, which means I'm organised, patient, and almost certainly the person in the group who actually reads the instructions. I volunteer when I can — I've spent time at the Tate Modern, which is about as far from a Bronze Age burial site as you can get, but I love both ends of the spectrum. Give me a National Trust property with a decent cafe an impressionist canvas, or a muddy archaeological dig and I'm completely in my element.
Faith is important to me — I'm an active churchgoer and it shapes how I try to live: generously, intentionally, and with a genuine interest in the people around me. I give to charity regularly and believe a good housemate notices when the loo roll runs out without being asked.
Outside of that you'll find me singing in a choir, trawling museum gift shops for books I don't have shelf space for, or Googling whether it's too late in the season to plant courgettes (it's always too late, apparently). I also have a slightly ridiculous ambition to learn to fly one day — because why not aim high.
I'm looking for a calm, friendly, faith-based home where there's good conversation, shared values, and no passive-aggressive notes about the washing up.
