More about the accommodation:
Hello! Let me give you a bit of background: two years ago, my friend started this small ecumenical Christian community with the idea of creating a less intense form of intentional community, Her name is Lakshmi and she's honestly SO great. Along the way I moved in, I lived in Christian communities before and it was a transformative experience for me. I took three gap years, two of which were spent in Christian communities where we lived, prayed, and ministered together. It was intense, but incredibly rewarding.
This experience helped me grow in ways I hadn't anticipated. I found myself maturing not just spiritually, but emotionally as well. I learned to navigate the complexities of shared living, to appreciate the beauty of diverse perspectives, and to deepen my faith in a Christian environment.
Our home on Coleridge Road is an attempt to recreate some of that magic. It's a considerably less intense, but it still provides a solid foundation for Christian life in Cambridge.
An invitation to join…
Myself and two other Christians are renting this 4 bedroom house on the south end of Coleridge Road, Cambridge and are looking for 1 Christian housemates (any Christian denomination/background/curious about Christianity, most likely a mature student/young professional) to join us in our vision of ecumenical community living.
This would involve:
- Regularly praying together (at least every week! We set an evening a week to pray together😊 From past experience, this is deeply enriching!)
- Setting aside one evening a week to eat together as a household
- Sharing in a mission of open hospitality and friendship, especially to those who may most benefit from it / anything else which may seem appropriate to us as a group of 4 that we may be called to share and create as a community
This is but a rough outline and specifics would for sure be discussed and formed with whoever ends up forming the group of 4.
House Details
We encourage you to think about whether you’d like to join the community prior to whether you’d like to join the physical house but the practicalities of where one lives are also very important! We are offering the smallest room in the house, hence why the price is so good! So a few details on the house:

It is worth noting that although Manasa is not Christian she still joins us for community meals, prayer (and, of course, board games!)
