More about the accommodation:

There is one bedroom available for a lodger on the top floor in our loft conversion. Along with the two bedrooms (one occupied by another lodger) on the top floor are a bathroom, and also an additional large lounge room with TV. The bedroom contains a single bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and lamp, and desk and large drawers under the bed for storage . There is also a small amount of eaves storage for your use if needed.

On the ground floor there is a large kitchen/ dining room, which is shared for everyone to use. There is also a downstairs toilet. There is a good size garden, with pergola and outdoor seating and BBQ. We have another lounge on this floor that our family tend to dwell in and the lounge on the top floor tends to belong more to lodgers.

On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms and a family bathroom and separate toilet all of which are used by our family.

The house is just under a 15 minute walk from Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec stations, with its many restaurants, bars, pubs, supermarkets and shops. We are a few minutes walk from Tooting common. We are a few minutes walk from a parade of shops, bar, restaurant, pizzeria, pharmacy etc.

The house is a Victorian terraced house with lots of character.

Bills including wifi are included in the monthly rent.

More about the household:

We are a family of four including two children aged 18 and almost 15 and we have added to our number with another lodger who has lived with us for a couple of years, is female and in her late 20s and great fun to live with.

We have lived with lodgers for a number of years before, which we have really enjoyed and they have often felt like part of our family. We partly work in the office and partly at home so are around in the day fairly regularly.
We are pretty relaxed and generally quiet household, who enjoy good food and good wine and looking for a person to live with our family and who are ideally community minded and enjoy family life. We have two lounges and a large kitchen/ diner in our house so room to spread out when everyone needs space. We also love to get together as a household to just make sure we all connect and actually know each other, so we don't like to live as ships passing in the night. We usually try to do 'house dinner' every few weeks just so we get to hang out together. All communal spaces are open to be used by everyone in the house.

We worship at a local church, Mitcham Lane Baptist Church.
