Hi there!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in christian community? Sharing your life, practising hospitality, worshipping and praying together much like the early church? Well this might just be your opportunity….

We are a network of Christian communities serving LoveBristol+Woodlands churches with a range of homes of varying sizes around central Bristol. We currently have spaces for new members who want to join our worshipping, ‘new monastic’ community keen to live out the adventure and challenge of Acts 2:42-47!

We are passionate about Jesus, we love our city and we aspire to have a positive impact on our world through sharing resources, encouraging and supporting those who are vulnerable around us and living out life as Jesus’ disciples in an urban context.

More about the household:

We are a diverse bunch of people with different interests which we try to support and encourage each other in. For successful applicants we are looking for a minimum commitment of 1 year and involvement in the life of the local church community at LoveBristol or Woodlands churches.

Hospitality is at the heart of what we do, and really important to all of us. We love to have friends and family to stay and regularly have people around for dinner. Most people are working and so we prioritise Monday evenings and Sunday mornings as times when we gather together. We eat together most days and actively pray for each other and also have lots of fun!

(Lovebristol also have a couple of social enterprises including a busy community focused cafe and furniture&vintage clothing shop. We often have exciting job opportunities coming up and would love to hear from you if this could be of interest you!)
