There is plenty of space in this quiet home and a separate door to the two upper floors, where your room would be. The neighbours are friendly and there is a parking space for a car. Bus stops are a few hundred yards away and the railway station and shops about 10 minutes on foot.

The rooms are a generous size with a double bed, walk - in wardrobe, storage for clothing and a desk. There is gas central heating and windows are double glazed. There's a great view, and you would be 2 minutes from the promenade.

You would be sharing a large lounge - dining room, a well equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower and bath.

Wi-fi and all bills except energy, when stays are a month or more, are included in the rent. The amount will be shared if there are two people staying. There are separate meters for the top two floors, so you will be in control of your energy use.

In the garden there are places to sit in good weather, and there are several pub-restaurants, a cafe and a fish and chip shop nearby.

I am on hand if you need anything, living in the bottom 2 floors of the house. I am retired but busy: I am a part of the local church and I teach music, grow food, and keep chickens in the garden. There is a cat downstairs, who is meant to stay there, although he's curious!

There is car-parking at the front of the house, and more free parking at the end of the terrace.

If you love loud music, there are always headphones! The walls are thin in this old property: the neighbours are very considerate and I like to be so, too..

More about the household:

One mature female, a cat and 4 chickens occupy the house and garden. I am a member of the church choir and teach music privately to adults, playing flute, piano and piano accordion. I use a cabin in the garden for noisier practise! I enjoy walking and am a gym member.

I value the quiet of the house and location and enjoy the big garden, reading and meeting friends for fellowship.
Because of the layout of the house the two upper floors have a separate entrance, a kitchen, bathroom with shower and large dining/sitting room, so whoever stays upstairs can have as much privacy as they choose, although I'm at home a moderate amount.

I would like whoever stays here to feel secure and peaceful, and a Christian would be very welcome, even if not exactly the same variety! We are all learning and growing, so if we agree on biblical faith we can have a different understanding of 'non - salvific' issues.
