Double bedroom available in a two-bedroomed end terrace house with live in landlady. Shared living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom, back garden with large patio area, garage and driveway large enough for 2 cars.
The house is located in a quiet corner of Bishopbriggs with a lovely view out the front of a field, wooded area and the Campsie Hills. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet with fantastic neighbours on both sides.
Easy walk into the centre of Bishopbriggs and the train station. Various cafés and restaurants to chose from. Local amenities including a sports centre with swimming pool and two supermarkets within walking distance, both with petrol stations. About a mile up the road you have Strathkelvin Retail Park. Easy and short drive into the countryside; about 6 miles into the centre of town (one stop if going by train, straight into Queen Street Station).
The bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables and a good sized built in wardrobe. It looks out onto the back garden.
The attic has been converted into a further double bedroom but is accessible only by a loft ladder, but can be used for family and friends staying,
If you have friends you'd like to house share with, I would be open to discussions about renting the whole house out.

Hi, my name is Lorna and I would be your live in landlady should you choose to my spare room. I work, am aged 48, from Belfast originally but have lived in Glasgow twice as long.
I attend Home Church Scotland in Kirkintilloch. I have been a born again Christian since my childhood, but became a bit flat when I was having to work weekends and couldn't get to church. Since changing jobs and finding Home Church, my faith has become vibrant again. I love the Lord!! The church has welcomed me so much and supported me that I give back to it and the Lord and I do my bit at church to help with the successful running of it.
I love entertaining and enjoy having people round at the house and cooking for them (I love eating and nearly all foods, even the ones that don't like me). I love spending time with my friends (the family I chose). I enjoy reading, watching films/series, doing arty craft stuff, going out for coffee and cake, and exercising when I can (rowing and cycling being my main sports) and going out on my scooter. I thoroughly enjoy going to the theatre and visiting museums or historical buildings. I like to get away somewhere warm on holiday when I can. I visit my family regularly (we're spread all over the UK).
I also enjoy walking my dogs......yes, I have two dogs, litter sisters. I only meant to foster them back to health (they were part of a neglect and cruelty case), but of course I fell in love with them and so adopted them. I have had them 10 years, so they are 11 or 12 years old. They are English Springer Spaniels and are lively wee things, but are definitely slowing down. They love to sleep (don't we all!!) and will sleep up to 16 hours a day. They are SO LOVING and sweet and just love to curl up on your lap of an evening. They give THE BEST cuddles. Like me, they too enjoy their food!!
