More about the accommodation:
We are offering a room for a lodger who would have own room, share bathroom and downstairs toilet, share kitchen - diner and garden. We have a lounge which can be used sometimes but the couple who live here have priority. The and phouse is a town house with 3 stories. The room for rent is on first floor next to the lounge and has a single bed, table and chair. Other furniture requirements could be discussed.
We are an older couple with no children. My husband is a musician who works from home sometimes and I work part-time so our routine varies a bit. We think the house would work best with someone who goes out to work rather than WFH every day. We both go to church and have long connections with Woodlands and also Long Ashton Parish Church. Our last lodger was female in her 20's. The house has a lounge as well as a kitchen/diner and patio in summer so there is plenty of living space. We are happy to share meals occasionally and try to be flexible about sharing the kitchen.

More about the household:
We have lived here 6 years and enjoy walking round the harbourside, where there are lots of cafes and bars to visit. Favourites are the Cottage and the Grain Barge. You can also walk to Ashton Court or cycle to Pill or Festival Way. Clifton village is a short walk away.
My husband is a musician and sometimes teaches at home. When he has gigs we often go together and can be late coming home. We both enjoy live music and theatre, films and tv. I work part-time and enjoy art and making art, also gardening.
We are advertising on Christian Flatshare as we would ideally like to give the room to someone who goes to church.
The room is available from 1st August.
