More about the accommodation:
The house is in a brilliant location, 5-10 minutes walk to Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland and close to bus routes too.
There is a row of 4 houses and all the other 3 houses have brilliant neighbours that all know each other and help each other.
There are 2 quite spacious bedrooms upstairs, along with a bathroom. My Dad has moved his bedroom to be on the ground floor now, so you would mostly have the top floor to yourself, apart from when one of his daughters or grandchildren stay in the other room when they come to see and help him (we live in Coventry but try to come at least every other weekend for a night or two).
Downstairs there is the room he uses as his bedroom and a bathroom next to it, at the back of the house. There is a good sized kitchen in the middle of the house, and a front room at the front of the house. He has a beautiful cottagelike garden. The garden is next to a trainline so can be a little noisy, but you soon stop noticing it. You would be able to use all areas of the house and garden apart from his bedroom and the other spare bedroom.

More about the household:
The rent price is negotiable. Our situation is unique in the sense that we are happy to offer cheap rent in exchange for someone being company and help to my 84 year old dad who lost his wife of 50 years 2 years ago. He doesn't need a full time carer but he does need bits of help, someone to listen to his many stories, and willing to cook for him. Preferably a student or someone who works less than full time, or works from home. The cheap rent is in exchange for your time and help. We can talk through this with anyone who is interested.
He would like a committed Christian, preferably someone willing to get stuck into his church which is opposite his house - St. Jude's CofE.
