'The Artist's Retreat' is a stylish, self-contained studio flat in central Cambridge owned by an artist. With local amenities just down the road and easy access to the town.
Recently renovated, this colourful space features a fully equipped, compact kitchenette with microwave oven, toaster, kettle and mini fridge, a dedicated desk space with high speed wifi, and comfortable double bed. It has a private en-suite bathroom with corner shower unit and is equipped with ample storage ensuring a convenient and relaxing stay.
Situated on a quiet residential street in north Cambridge, close to the heart of the historic city of Cambridge, with easy access to the many attractions and sights of the city.
There are many local amenities near by: Aldi, Iceland, Co-op, Pharmacy and Chinese Takeaway at the end of the road. Other takeaways around the corner and a cafe and shop over the road.
Easy access to all Cambridge has to offer via a 15 min bus ride from the end of the road or a 25 min walk and there is also a Voi bicycle/electric scooter hire literally just over the road. Plus, just a 30 min bus ride to the train station and you can be in London in 50 min, or London Stansted Airport in 40 mins. Neighbourhood parking is free and there is usually a space not far from the house.
The Artist's Retreat can be accessed by using your own key safe, entering through a door that leads straight up the stairs to your studio flat without needing to go through the rest of the house.
The studio flat is contained within our family home but can be completely private, apart from occasional crossing on the stairs.
